Hey TV Garth viewers, I was recently able to get my H1N1 shot from a York Region health clinic. (To celebrate, I'm posting the above pic from Erie, PA's WICU about Pennsylvania H1N1 clinics!) The shot wasn't so bad, but my arm still hurts a couple of days later! After the shot we were corralled into a waiting area for a minimum of 15 min to ensure we weren't going to fall over. That's where I got to see Heroes' Hayden Panettiere cavort with talking animals in Racing Stripes (no dolphins were featured in the film, as far as I know.) The TV showing the movie was on one of those high school style contraptions with steel rollers....heh.... I also loved that the paramedics in the room watching us were openly bored (the male paramedic was yawning quite noticeably.) Otherwise, it was fast and easy.....I recommend getting the shot if it's available in your area!
Welcome to TV Garth!
Ever since I was a kid, I loved antennas and TV reception. It was always a thrill to hook up an antenna and see what stations I could get, and see if I could pick up anything from a far distance. With the transition to digital broadcasting happening, my love for OTA (over the air) reception came back and this blog will focus on what channels I'm able to receive via antenna from my home just outside of Toronto, Canada. Plus there may be occasional commentaries on shows that I see while adjusting my reception.
