I did, however, catch WKTV (RF29) from Utica with Don Shipman and Jenel Boston having fun on Newschannel 2 at Daybreak!
There was also a decent analog signal coming in from Oshawa, ON's CHEX (RF22) with Jaye Makinson and Mike Judson on a repeat of Newswatch! (Oshawa's CHEX is a semi-satellite of CHEX Peterborough, airing their own local news alongside repeats from the larger station.)
I like that Mike Judson CHEX many sources to ensure he provides a great weather forecast!
I think this was my first time seeing WKTV's new reporter Shaun Kaleta!
WKTV also provided a nice reminder that they (along with CW11) are Central New York's sports authority!

Detroit, MI's WDIV (RF45) made a surprise visit, and I heart the promo I saw for This TV on their subchannel!
New Channel Alert - I'm Just Sayin' it was a shock to catch low powered TCT station WDWO (RF18) from Detroit that same night!
Kitchener, ON's CKCO (RF13) had Lee Boyadjian clawing her way through a report on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats practice in Waterloo. (They couldn't escape if they wanted to...)
Cleveland, OH's WKYC (RF17) arrived with some nifty new branding on their weather subchannel! Love me some station logos!
There always seems to be an older guy who likes to watch when two hot guys embrace... (Seen via Cleveland, OH's WQHS, RF34.)
New Channel Alert - I was surprised to see Wheatley, ON's CHWI (RF16) sneak through long enough for PSIP to lock in! (Usually RF16 is a battle between Rochester's WXXI and Erie's WSEE!)
It was the end of an era when I saw a commercial announcing the closing of Volk's jewelry store in Cleveland. I captured an ad for Volk's all the way back in 2009 during the first month I caught WEWS (RF15) digitally! Burt Kay is pure gold and no one can trade him in...

My hair stood on end with excitement when Pittsburgh, PA's WPMY (RF42) arrived with a stylish ad for Empire Beauty Schools!
The Simpsons and Seinfeld sparked an animated debate among WPMY viewers about which show is funnier. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
I was ready to squeal, "How YOU doin' Pittsburgh?" as Wendy Williams looked ready to dish about the amazing reception taking place!
I was shocked when Pittsburgh's WPGH (RF43) knocked out Buffalo's WNED with a few seconds of My Name Is Earl! Check out the "FOX 53" branding!
On a serious note, Alliance, OH's WNEO (RF45) aired a Nova special called "A Walk To Beautiful," described by PBS as "A powerful story of healing and hope for women in Ethiopia devastated by childbirth injuries."
Cleveland, OH's WBNX (RF30) displayed a nice station ID on their subchannel.
I was finally able to catch a great logo for Cleveland's legendary WUAB (RF28) after years of missing out on one!
It was Britney versus Christina all over again as Cleveland's WQHS (RF34) and Pittsburgh's WPXI (RF48) faced off with late night duelling divas!
WPMY offered up this AWESOME station ID only a day before Fonthill, ON's CKVP would sign on and make the MyTV affiliate harder to catch!
I know an awesome DJ named Danny Shaffer, so it was neat to see this ad for Daniel Shaffer's furniture on the MeTV subchannel of Johnstown, PA's WJAC (RF34-2.)
I almost said, "Far out, man!" upon seeing this groovy logo for Pittsburgh's MeTV subchannel on WPXI!
Meanwhile, Lynn Berry promptly fell asleep when Early Today began a story about the Republican National Convention on WPXI!

The forecast called for slightly scattered reception of Johnstown, PA's WJAC (RF34) which was in just long enough for Jim Burton's report!
Guillermo is sexy and he knows it, inviting viewers to look at that body during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel seen on Rochester, NY's WHAM (RF13.) I wasn't complaining...
Josh Nichols was a bright spot during the forecast on WHEC's weather subchannel (RF10-3.)
New Channel Alert - I wiggled like a bowl of Jell-O when Fonthill, ON's CKVP (RF42) made its debut appearance with Bill Cosby chatting on Jimmy Fallon. CKVP is one of two new transmitters in the Niagara region that rebroadcast Barrie, ON's CKVR.

The Divalicious Jaclyn Colville and Tim are always Bolen viewers over with their enjoyable banter during Morning Live: First Edition on Hamilton, ON's CHCH (RF11)!
Cleveland, OH's WEWS (RF15) also made it a Good Morning in Markham as I watched Christine Ferreira, Josh Boose and Macie Jepson!
My readers probably have alcohol poisoning from my previous puns on the name Boose. But in all seriousness, I was just Joshing! (I remember him from Buffalo's WGRZ, so it was nice to seem him anchoring on WEWS!)
Last, but not least, I caught a repeat of CKVR's newscast with Tony Grace and Rob Cooper via Fonthill, ON's CKVP (RF42.)
